Daylight ironing doesn’t happen very often it’s a bit like daylight reading I never seem to get round to doing it. Today I was on a roll, beds changed, bathrooms cleaned, floors hoovered and mopped, well apart from my son’s room.

This best describes his room. The top of the stairs didn’t get much of a clean either I have a small Lego city there complete with a train track, this will be tackled when I enter the danger zone. Upstairs done, downstairs had a quick going over before a little bit of cooking a couple batches of bread dough made and left to prove. Pastry made for tonights meal and the toppings prepared. All done before lunch, wow definitely need a sit down. Quick lunch with Mr G where we put the world to rights, talked about summer holidays and plans for the weekend. Hey its still only 1pm there is ironing which needs doing and I could do it whilst watching tv. Bit of a plan I think, no editing to get done, so ironing board out, iron switch on, greys anatomy in the DVD player. Fab ironing whilst watching McDreamy and McSteamy. Even managed to get the ironing completed and watch the last 10 minutes sitting on the sofa.
